Tim Cook to Give MIT Commencement Speech

For its commencement speech, The Massachusetts Institute of Technology has chosen the Apple CEO Tim Cook to deliver an MIT Commencement Speech in 2017.

It was announced on MIT website on Thursday that Tim Cook will give a speech on June 9th ceremony. Tim cook will be a fit candidate for this speech and a champ of the environment.

Mr. Cook’s brilliance as a business leader, his genuineness as a human being, and his passion for issues that matter to our community make his voice one that I know will resonate deeply with our graduates,I am delighted that he will join us for Commencement and eagerly await his charge to the Class of 2017.

-MIT president L. Rafael Reif said in a statement.

After Steve Jobs Death, Tim Cook is leading Apple Inc. from 2011 who has his degrees from  Auburn University and Duke University.He said that Apple Inc. is really proud to have MIT graduates on their side and working for them.

We believe deeply that technology can be a powerful force for good, and I’m looking forward to speaking to the Class of 2017 as they look ahead to making their own mark on the world,

-Cook said.

In 2016, actor Matt Damon was the speaker and this time we have Tim Cook.
