Safari browser has two dedicated Modes for scrolling of web pages and these Modes are; Reader Mode View and Full-Screen Mode View. Both of these modes are made specifically for reading and scrolling of web pages. If you have ever wished that this mode were used by the browser automatically then you are in luck as SafaReaderFullScroll is a new Jailbreak that does so.
SafaReaderFullScroll gives you visual options to make better and more functional your Safari Application adding these nice features to the Safari:
- Force Safari App to open Compatible Pages always in the Reader Mode View.
- Force Safari App to open Pages always in Full Scrolling Screen Mode View.
Reader Mode is useful if you just want to read the content on the website without any distracting material such as advertisements etc. Full-Screen Mode is different and it doesn’t filter the annoying content but it gives you the web page in the full screen to see how its meant to be.
Both of these options are available in the preferences pane of the tweak and after you enable any of the options, the Safari will open the web page in that mode either, Reader Mode or Full Screen Mode.
The option’s of the tweak are configurable from the dedicated preferences pane in the Settings App. Once you make certain changes then you won’t require a Respring for those changes to take place. Respring is also not required for enabling and disabling the Tweak. You will just need to close the Safari App and launch it again for changes to take place.
If you are interested in trying out this tweak then SafaReaderFullScroll is available for download and install from Cydia’s BigBoss Repo. It is available for free and compatible(tested) with iOS 8, iOS 9 and iOS 10 Jailbroken devices.
