There is a recent bug found in iOS that whenever you receive a text message from anyone in Indian language Telugu then it will cause your iOS device to crash meaning that when you will receive a text message in Telugu language then many of the apps on your iOS device will crash such as GMail, Facebook Messenger etc.
If you aren’t jailbroken then you can easily fix this by upgrading your iOS device to the latest version i.e iOS 11.2.6 and upgrading will fix this issue but if you are jailbroken then it will be a problem for you but say no more!
There is a new jailbreak tweak called NotTodaySatan which prevents Telugu characters from crashing apps and SpringBoard. This tweak replaces the Telugu character with “❌Removed❌“, preventing a crash (and a potential bootloop).
The crashing process is blocked system wide for iOS 10, and partially for iOS 11 (full support for notifications and partial support in apps)
This tweak is a life saver for most of us jailbreak as this tweak solves all of our problem and we can’t further be pranked by our friends. Whenever they will send a message that contains any Telugu letter then it will be replaced by ❌Removed❌ and your apps won’t crash.
The tweak works perfectly after installation and stops the apps from crashing. There are no options to configure for this tweak and work as soon as you install it.
NotTodaySatan is available for download from Cydia’s BigBoss Repo for free. This tweak is compatible with all iOS 9, 10, and iOS 11 devices.
