Panasonic released a monster tablet with a huge price tag. Panasonic FZ-A2 is a newly released tablet from Panasonic and costs $2189 and the model is Wi-Fi only.
The Tablet Panasonic FZ-A2 is MIL-STD-810G certified and also has IP 65 rating for protection against water and dust. The tablet is of military standards and is a very rugged tablet.
The tablet will feature a 10.1” WUXGA IPS Full-HD Display(1080p) and it can be used easily with gloves and other things on. The display also works under sunlight with 800 cd/sq.m brightness. The Tablet will be powered by an Intel Atom Z8550 SoC with 3 GB RAM and will run on Android 6.0(Marshmallow). The company claims that the battery will last up to 9 hours and is user-replaceable. It has a USB-C port for charging and also has OTG Support.
In the tablet, there can be the addition of barcode reader and smart card reader but these go along with the price. The tablet has a 3-year standard warranty and with a huge price tag, it will take a lot of abuse.
