If you are a user that listen to Music a lot then we have got a jailbreak tweak for you that you might like. NoMusicLabel is a new jailbreak that allows you to hide the Music labels from the Lock Screen.
Some people don’t like all the fuss that gets created on the Lock Screen so, if you want a cleaner Now Playing Interface on the Lock Screen then NoMusicLabel is the tweak for you.
Once you install the tweak, head over to the preferences pane of the tweak. From there you can:
- Hide/Unhide Track Title
- Hide/Unhide Track Artist
- Hide/Unhide Track Album
If you select any one of the above options then that particular element won’t appear on the lock and if you select all the three then nothing will appear, only a blank Now Playing page on the lock screen with Music Options only.
Honestly, hiding all the three elements from the Now Playing page on the lock screen looks very weird and you won’t know that what song you are listening to. What you could do is that hide one or two of the elements if you want the Now Playing page to look a bit cleaner.
The tweak also has some extra from which you can enable custom small labels. These labels will be of a very small size and you can select the Sizes, Colors, and Modes of these custom labels in order to change the Music Labels on Lock Screen.
After making certain changes, no respring is required. Just make the changes and then they will take place instantly.
If you are interested in the idea of this tweak and want to give it a try then you can download and install NoMusicLabel from Cydia’s BigBoss Repo. It is available for free and is compatible with iOS 8, iOS 9 and iOS 10 Jailbroken devices.
