Nokia 6 makes its official debut with Android Nougat and aluminum unibody design

It was announced by Nokia that they will team up with HMD Global and re-enter into the smartphone market and HMD will build all the devices while they will be branded under the name of Nokia. Now, at the start of 2017, the smartphone has been revealed by both the companies.

The Nokia 6 was announced yesterday and the smartphone has quite good features. Nokia 6 will have Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed and will feature an aluminum unibody design and HMD quoted that it takes about an hour to carve Nokia 6 from a block of 6000 series aluminum.

Nokia 6 will be having a 5.5’inch Full-HD Display(1080 x 1920 px) with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass and it will have a 16 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and phase detection auto-focus around back and on the front, there will be a 8 MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 430 SoC and 4 gigs of RAM and 64 gigs of internal storage and there is no support for SD Card.

Nokia 6 will also have dual amplifiers and HMD touts that Nokia 6 will have a 6dB louder sound than a normal amplifier for higher voice, deeper bass, and unmatched clarity.

Availability

The Nokia 6 will launch only at JD.Com(China) at the start of 2017 for 1700 CNY or $245 USD. For a price this low with amazing features, Nokia 6 will be a competitive mid-range smartphone and it also has the renowned Nokia name with premium materials and a solid metal feel. We are eagerly waiting for Nokia 6 to launch and to see that how well does it perform.
