iOS 10.1.1 Causing Battery Drain Issues

[sgmb id=”1″]After upgrading to iOS 10.1.1 many users have reported that the battery life of their iPhone has seen a great a decrease in their iPhone battery life. iPhone users are reporting that their phone is losing as much as 60% battery while their iPhone is idle or switched off.

Others users are reporting that their iPhone randomly shuts down although it still has battery juice remaining. After they plug in their iPhone, it starts and shows that the mobile has pretty much battery remaining.

I have the same problem with my iphone 6 DYING SUDDENLY at 30% battery, using ios 10.1.1. This did not happen with ios 9 but it’s too late, I can’t go back now… believe me I have tried to downgrade multiple times! I can’t even go back to 10.1 because I need to restore all my apps from my backup which requires 10.1.1.

He is not a single users suffering from this issues and this thread is now 26 pages long now and all the users on this thread are reporting the same issue.

This problem is seen on various iPhones and it doesn’t seem to affect any particular iPhone. Right from iPhone 5 to iPhone 7, users are complaining about this issues after upgrading to iOS 10.1.1.

Until now, there is no proper solution for this issue but some users of iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 have reported that after turning off the Raise to Wake feature they have seen increase in their iPhone battery life. Others users have now upgraded to iOS 10.2 Beta in hope that their issue might be resolved on it.
