Huawei unveiled their second generation of premium mid-range smartphone line, nova 2 and nova 2 Plus. Leaving the typical Honor design behind, they have a design impressed by the Huawei’s P-Series with a dual camera on the back.
The dual shooter on the back consists of one 12 MP sensor with 1.25 µm pixels with an aperture of f/1.8 along with an 8 MP sensor which aids in Optical zoom and Portrait Mode. What’s more surprising than this is that it has 20 MP front camera.
Both the smartphone will feature a full metal unibody with either a 5′ inch or 5.5′ inch display.(5” for smaller and 5.5” for plus model). The display will LPTS LCD with a full-HD(1080p) resolution covered by a 2.5D Curved Glass.
The smartphone will be about 6.9mm thick, quite slim. As far as the other specs are concerned then these smartphones will feature 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of storage(nova 2) or 4 GB RAM with 128 GB of Storage(nova 2 Plus) powered by Kirin 659 Chipset(replaced by Snapdragon 625). The battery capacity is quite decent with nova 2 to feature a 2,950 mAh and nova 2 plus to feature 3,340 mAh battery.
The Smartphones are estimated to cost about CNY 2,500/$365/€325(nova 2) or CNY 2,900/$420/€375(nova 2 Plus). The phone is estimated to go on sale from 16th June.
