How to hard reset iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus

Apple released the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus and made quite a few changes in them. One of the most noticeable change is the new pressure sensitive home button. This latest home button recognizes the amount of pressure exerted and then gives feedback accordingly.

Due to lack of physical button, hard resetting your iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is quite different from previous iPhone where you had to just press and hold the home button and power button at the same time for 10-15 seconds but on iPhone 7 it’s quite different. Below we have mentioned how to hard reset iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

How to hard reset the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus:

  1. Press and hold the Power button that you will find on the right side of your iPhone.
  2. At the same time while holding the Power button press and hold the volume down button that is present on left side of iPhone.
  3. Keep holding both buttons until the screen goes black and then Apple logo appears.
  4. Wait for a few seconds for your iPhone to boot up properly and load the lock screen.
