After many of others devices receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat, now it is the Sony which is rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat to Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Premium with the Xperia Z5 Compact to follow. The number of the update is 32.3.A.0.372 and it introduces a multi-window support, a more personal home screen as Sony claims and an improved battery life.
Sony took advantage of Nougat’s Doze battery saving system also Sony’s STAMINA mode too to manage its battery levels. Sony also added three new power saving modes too.
In the update’s release notes, Sony also mentioned a new selfie-timer button for the front camera. Google Now is also integrated into Xperia Launcher and also Message app received an update which makes sending files easier.
The size of the update is about 1.3 GB and it’s better to use Wi-Fi to download the update. We advise you to charge your smartphone above 50% before you start the process of updating.
The update is now starting to roll out and after that, it will be rolled out the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact followed by Xperia Z3+ and Z4 Tablet.
